do you recognised the name saracomoffsky as being russian
We have the name Semion Paulovich Saracomoffsky in our famioly and don't know why the child born in 1866 in Edinburgh was given that name. We wondered if it was of Russian origin. The spelling is as copied from the birth certificate.
